CamdenBoss, manufacturer and distributor of performance engineered interconnection and enclosures, has announced the addition of new shockproof covers and new sizes for the Takachi 87 series hand held enclosures along with more sizes for the 90 series IP67 waterproofed cases.
The 87 series hand held enclosures are ideal for measuring instruments, test equipment, wireless communications and medical devices and are moulded from off-white or dark grey high impact UL94-V0 flame retardant ABS. The basic enclosure features a removable end panel and recess to front for keypads and/or labels. The new shockproof silicone covers are available in five standard colours and nine sizes fitting tightly over the base, sides and around edges of the lids. Standard colours for shockproof covers are green, orange, navy blue, light grey and dark grey with pantone matched custom colours available for minimum order quantities of 500.
The three new sizes for the 87 series enclosures are 145 x 96mm in heights of 20, 27 and 35mm and these can be supplied with or without battery compartments encompassing 6 x AAA, 4 x AA and 2 x AA. Battery contacts are supplied. Offering IP40 protection, the 87 series hand held enclosures are suitable for operation over the temperature range -10 to +60°C.
CamdenBoss has also added new sizes to the Takachi 90 series hand held cases. Available in black or white, these stylish IP67 waterproofed enclosures feature chamfered edges, rubber sides in five standard colours and are moulded from UL94-V0 flame-retardant ABS.
New sizes are 126 x 79 x 20 or 28mm both with or without 2 x or 3 x AAA battery compartment and 171 x 95 x 25 or 33mm both with or without 4 x AA battery compartment.
Suitable for use in a variety of hand held applications such as measuring instruments, inspection machines, transmitters and medical equipment, the Takachi series 90 enclosures can operate in temperatures from -10 to +60°C.
