Esterline adds Sunbank to Souriau

ESNA Feb14 pp6&8 Esterline&SunbankEsterline has acquired Sunbank, which it will add to Souriau in its Connection Technologies operation. Based in California, and with a strong presence in aerospace and military markets, Sunbank is the world´s second-largest producer of accessories for electrical wiring harness connectors and conduits. Esterline says that the acquisition will reinforce its Connection Technologies operation and allow it to offer its clients a comprehensive offering of connectors, accessories and conduits.

Formed in 1958, Sunbank has 500 staff and annual earnings of $45 million. Its facilities, located in Paso Robles, California, and Tijuana, Mexico, will supplement Souriau´s global manufacturing footprint principally located in the United States, Europe, Morocco, the Dominican Republic, India and Japan.
