Aerco has been appointed as the sole UK strategic distributor for Hypertac, a brand of Smiths Connectors, and has increased its commitment to Hypertac product assembly.
A range of parts can be assembled by Aerco, including rectangular, PCB mount connectors, notably two-part, PCB connectors in two and three row formats that comply with BS9525-N0001 and BS9525-F0016 as well as MIL-C-55302/159 to 164.
Under the terms of the new contract, Aerco can now assemble shrouded versions of the two-part, PCB connectors and versions with tin dipped contacts, which will be available on a two-week delivery. This represents a major improvement for customers who previously experienced deliveries in excess of 12 weeks.
