Anglia M2M is now exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for manufacturer of Mediatek (MTK) based GPS receiver modules, GlobalTop. The agreement replaces Anglia’s position as UK distributor for Fastrax GPS modules, which came to an end following its acquisition by ublox.
According to divisional marketing manager for Anglia M2M, Tim Clayton: “GlobalTop GPS modules are technically very competitive and easy to integrate as a result of industry standard architecture. The range includes both smart antenna modules with a pre-tuned antenna and standalone modules with an ultra-small footprint for advanced applications. Their hardware is versatile, with good design tools allowing firmware to be adapted to suit specific needs.”
