Gateway Electronic Components, a franchised component distributor based in Cheshire, UK, has received the Gold Award in TDK’s prestigious annual European Distribution Awards held this June in Munich.

Martin Ford, Managing Director of Gateway was absolutely delighted with the Gold Award and believes that it reflects the tremendous efforts of his committed team in providing the highest possible levels of customer service.

Devised by TDK to set performance standards for its distributor network across Europe, the awards are based on the annual Senten Manten Distributor Performance Evaluation Program. Senten Manten translates from Japanese into “perfect result”. Gateway was one of only three European distributors to secure the Gold standard, reflecting the company’s consistent business and operational achievement against key performance criteria set by TDK for its distributor network.
