America II Electronics, Inc., one of the world’s largest distributors of semiconductors and electronic components, today announced it has entered into a global franchise distribution agreement with Beneq, developer and manufacturer of rugged thin film electroluminescence (TFEL) displays and fully-transparent TASEL® displays.

Under terms of the agreement, America II will have global distribution rights to Beneq’s complete line of Lumieq displays.

Beneq’s TFEL non-transparent displays are used in mining, marine, military and medical applications. They are manufactured specifically for harsh, demanding environments where traditional displays may not be suitable. Beneq’s transparent TASEL displays combine the rugged build of the TFEL design with a completely transparent display—ideal for consumer electronics and architectural applications where viewing experience and product aesthetics is essential.
