Eaton’s new C308F fuse series is specifically designed for intrinsically safe network protection used in hazardous environments (mines, refineries, oil tankers, chemical factories, oil drills) can now be ordered from TTI, Inc., the world’s leading specialist distributor of passive, connector, electromechanical and discrete components. The C308F is a 3×8.4mm SMT ferrule fuse with 250VAC rating and exceptionally high breaking capacity (4000A) to safely disconnect very high short circuit current without rupturing.
Offering the lowest DCR values currently on the market, compact C308F series fuses provide a space-saving alternative to conventional fuse solutions and meet EN60079-11 specifications for hazardous applications. The devices are available for SMT or THT mounting.
