Powersolve announces the PME1200 Series of single output power supplies designed to provide up to 1200W for medical systems applications. There are seven models in the PME1200 Series all offering programmable DC output voltage and current (0 to 105%) as well as a +5V, 0.5A or +8V, 0.3A auxiliary output. DC outputs range from 12 to 60V and forced current sharing allows for parallel operation.
Featuring approvals to EN60601-1 and UL/cUL 60601-1 these power supplies can be used in any medical systems application including life support equipment. Cooling is by internal fan controlled by power rating and temperature. They also feature immunity to EN61000-3-2, and meet EMI EN55011:2009+A1: 2010.
The power supplies accept a universal 90 – 264V AC with active PFC and incorporate overvoltage, overload and over temperature protection as well as fan failure protection. They have an operating temperature range of -20ºC to +60ºC with some derating.
With a built-in I²C serial data bus, they also feature remote on/off, remote sense function and a power good signal.
