UK-based MPE, a designer and manufacturer of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electromagnetic pulse (EMP) and Tempest filters and feed-through capacitors, has appointed Electrade as its distributor covering the whole of Germany for both standard and customised products. This will include local stockholding in Germany of many standard product lines.
Electrade boasts a technical team with a high level of engineering expertise and a customer base that comprises 40 per cent mainstream commercial, 30 per cent defence and aerospace and 30 per cent information and communications technology (ICT) and the medical marketplace.
Sales and marketing director of MPE, Paul Currie, explains: “While MPE product sales into German EMC test houses remain buoyant, there are many more applications and untapped market sectors that MPE products can address. We therefore sought a partner capable of penetrating such new areas.”
